Refund policy

RAY CABINETRY LLC RETURN, REFUND, CANCELLATION, AND CHANGE ORDER POLICY

Effective Date: October 3, 2026

This policy explains when an order placed with Ray Cabinetry LLC may be canceled, changed, returned, replaced, or refunded.

“Ray Cabinetry,” “RC,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Ray Cabinetry LLC. “Customer,” “you,” and “your” mean the person or entity purchasing products or services from RC.

This policy forms part of RC’s Terms and Conditions.

  1. REVIEW YOUR ORDER BEFORE PAYMENT

Cabinetry is ordered according to the Customer’s approved selections, measurements, design, and product list.

Before placing an order or paying an invoice, the Customer must verify:

• Product codes
• Cabinet sizes
• Quantities
• Door style and finish
• Door swings and hinge directions
• Finished ends
• Panels, fillers, and moldings
• Accessories
• Appliance dimensions and clearances
• Assembly selection
• Shipping, delivery, or pickup method
• Customer-provided measurements
• The final design or cabinet list

Payment and order approval confirm that the Customer has reviewed and accepted these details.

  1. CANCELLATION BEFORE SUPPLIER SUBMISSION

A cancellation request must be emailed to raycabinetryllc@gmail.com.

A request is not approved until RC confirms the cancellation in writing.

Before RC submits or pays the supplier, RC may approve a cancellation. Any approved refund will be reduced by costs already incurred, including:

• Payment-processing fees
• Completed measurement services
• Completed design services
• Administrative costs
• Supplier charges
• Other nonrecoverable expenses

  1. FINALITY AFTER SUPPLIER SUBMISSION

An order becomes final and non-cancelable when RC submits the order to or pays the supplier.

After that point, cancellation, product changes, finish changes, quantity changes, and delivery changes are not guaranteed.

RC is not required to issue a refund because the Customer:

• Changes their mind
• Changes the project design
• Changes contractors or installers
• Decides not to proceed with the project
• Provides incorrect measurements
• Orders an incorrect product
• Experiences an unrelated construction delay
• No longer wants the selected color or style

  1. CHANGE ORDERS

If a Customer requests a change after supplier submission, RC will determine whether the supplier can accommodate it.

Any change requires written approval from both RC and the supplier.

If approved, the Customer must pay:

• A change-order fee equal to 25% of the value of the affected items
• Product price differences
• Additional freight or delivery costs
• Additional assembly charges
• Applicable taxes
• Supplier charges
• Other administrative or nonrecoverable costs

The Customer must pay all additional amounts before RC processes the change.

A changed or added product may have a different production, availability, pickup, or delivery date from the original order.

  1. GENERAL RETURN POLICY

Cabinetry and related products are final sale unless:

• RC gives prior written return authorization
• The supplier approves the return
• A manufacturer’s warranty provides a remedy
• Applicable law requires otherwise

Do not ship, deliver, or return products to RC, Highland Cabinetry, or another supplier without written instructions from RC.

Products returned without authorization may be refused, returned to the Customer, or subject to additional freight and handling costs.

  1. NONRETURNABLE PRODUCTS

Unless required by law or expressly approved under a manufacturer’s warranty, the following are nonreturnable and nonrefundable:

• Custom products
• Special-order products
• Assembled cabinets
• Modified or altered products
• Installed products
• Partially installed products
• Opened products that cannot be resold
• Products without original packaging
• Products damaged after delivery or pickup
• Clearance products
• Discontinued products
• Products exposed to moisture, weather, improper storage, or jobsite damage
• Products ordered from Customer-provided measurements or designs that prove inaccurate
• Products ordered correctly according to the Customer’s approved selection

  1. CONDITIONS FOR AN APPROVED RETURN

An approved return must:

• Be unused and uninstalled
• Be unmodified
• Be undamaged
• Be complete
• Remain in original packaging
• Include all hardware, components, and documentation
• Meet the supplier’s return deadline
• Meet the supplier’s eligibility and condition requirements
• Be transported according to RC’s written instructions

RC may inspect the product or require photographs before authorizing a return.

Return authorization does not guarantee a refund. Final refund eligibility depends on inspection and supplier acceptance.

  1. RETURN COSTS AND DEDUCTIONS

Approved returns may be subject to deductions for:

• Supplier restocking fees
• Return freight
• Pickup or transportation charges
• Handling charges
• Payment-processing fees
• Administrative costs
• Damage or missing components
• Packaging replacement
• Other supplier charges

Original shipping, delivery, assembly, measurement, design, and installation charges are nonrefundable once those services have been performed.

The Customer is responsible for protecting authorized return products until the supplier or RC accepts them.

  1. DAMAGE, SHORTAGE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Visible damage, shortages, and incorrect items must be reported to RC within 48 hours after delivery or pickup.

The Customer must email raycabinetryllc@gmail.com and provide:

• Customer name
• Order or invoice number
• Product code
• Affected quantity
• Description of the issue
• Wide and close photographs of the product
• Photographs of packaging and labels
• Delivery or pickup documentation
• Photographs of surrounding conditions when relevant

The Customer must retain all products and packaging until RC or the manufacturer confirms that they may be discarded.

The Customer must not install, assemble, modify, repair, return, or discard an affected product without written authorization.

Failure to report a visible issue within 48 hours, retain the packaging, or provide adequate documentation may prevent recovery from the carrier or supplier and may result in denial of the claim.

  1. WARRANTY CLAIMS ARE NOT AUTOMATIC REFUNDS

Products are covered only by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

A defect or warranty claim does not automatically entitle the Customer to a refund.

Depending on the manufacturer’s decision, the available remedy may include:

• Inspection
• Repair
• Replacement component
• Replacement product
• Supplier credit
• Another manufacturer-approved remedy

RC will reasonably assist the Customer with an eligible manufacturer claim but does not control the manufacturer’s decision or create an additional product warranty.

Manufacturer warranty conditions, exclusions, documentation requirements, and remedies apply.

  1. INSTALLATION OR MODIFICATION OF AFFECTED PRODUCTS

The Customer and installer must inspect every product before assembly, modification, and installation.

The Customer must not install or modify a product after discovering visible damage, an incorrect size, an incorrect item, or another apparent problem.

Installation or modification after a problem was or should reasonably have been discovered may:

• Prevent a return
• Prevent a carrier claim
• Prevent a supplier claim
• Void or limit the manufacturer’s warranty
• Make the Customer responsible for resulting labor and replacement expenses

  1. CUSTOMER MEASUREMENT AND DESIGN ERRORS

If the Customer supplies measurements, appliance specifications, a cabinet list, or a design—or declines RC’s measurement or design services—the Customer assumes responsibility for the accuracy and suitability of that information.

Products correctly ordered according to Customer-supplied or Customer-approved information are not returnable or refundable merely because they do not fit or work as intended.

RC is not responsible for replacement products, freight, design corrections, installation labor, storage, or delays caused by inaccurate Customer information or third-party designs.

  1. THIRD-PARTY INSTALLATION DAMAGE

RC is not responsible for damage, modification, loss, improper installation, unsafe work, alignment problems, or warranty issues caused by:

• The Customer
• A Customer-selected installer
• A contractor
• Another trade
• Improper transportation
• Improper unloading
• Improper storage
• Failure to follow manufacturer instructions

Products damaged by the Customer or another party are not eligible for return or refund unless the manufacturer expressly approves a warranty remedy.

  1. SERVICES AND MEASUREMENT FEES

Completed services are nonrefundable, including completed measurement, design, assembly, delivery, and installation work.

If the Customer purchases a qualifying RC cabinet order or RC installation within 30 days after an eligible paid RC field measurement, the stated measurement credit will be applied as described in the applicable written quote.

The measurement credit:

• Is not redeemable for cash
• Is not transferable
• Applies only to a qualifying RC order or installation
• Expires 30 days after the measurement unless RC agrees otherwise in writing

  1. REFUND METHOD AND TIMING

An approved refund will generally be issued to the original payment method when practicable.

RC may issue a refund only after:

• The return is approved
• The product is received and inspected
• The supplier accepts the return
• RC receives or confirms the applicable supplier credit
• All applicable deductions are calculated

Banks and payment processors control how long it takes for a refund to appear in the Customer’s account.

RC may withhold a disputed or unverified portion while a claim, return, charge, or supplier credit is being investigated.

  1. CHARGEBACKS

A payment dispute or chargeback does not cancel an order or replace the procedures in this policy.

Before initiating a chargeback, the Customer must contact RC and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the concern.

RC may provide the payment processor with the Customer’s order approval, policy acceptance, invoice, communications, product records, delivery records, and other relevant documentation.

  1. ORDER OR PRICING ERRORS

RC may correct a typographical, pricing, product, configuration, or calculation error before submitting the order to the supplier.

If a material correction is required, RC will notify the Customer and provide the opportunity to approve the correction or cancel the affected item before supplier submission.

If an item becomes unavailable before supplier submission, RC may offer a substitute, backorder, store credit, or refund for the unavailable item.

  1. POLICY CONFLICTS

This policy must be read together with RC’s Terms and Conditions, Shipping and Delivery Policy, Highland Warehouse Pickup Policy, Measurement, Design, and Installation Responsibility Policy, and Warranty and Claims Policy.

A project-specific agreement signed by RC and the Customer will control if it expressly conflicts with this general policy.
